CLIMATE SCIENCE SCOTLAND
To maximise the national and international impact of cutting-edge climate research at Scottish institutions, Scotland needs a clear focal point for climate expertise.
To address this need, the Centre for Changing Climates hosted a two-day workshop to connect expertise and kick-start collaboration between researchers from across Scotland. Presentations spanned disciplines including atmospheric dynamics, ocean circulation, paleoclimate, and climate impacts. Discussions identified new modes of collaboration, providing the critical mass to boost the impact of climate science in Scotland.
