Dr Mariam Zachariah (Imperial College London) will give an illustrated talk on The Tibet-Nepal Flash-flood of August 2026: Causes and Consequences. Dr Zachariah is a member of the World Weather Attribution team, and an author of the first detailed assessment of the disaster. It should be a fascinating talk.
