Dr Michael Byrne, Earth & Environmental Sciences - Physical climate science in a warming world: St Andrews at the cutting edge
Dr Andrea Brock, Classics - Ancient History as a New Laboratory: assessing the impacts of environmental change on complex societies
Dr Derek Ball, Philosophy - Metrics for mitigation: stabilisation temperature and damage
Talks will be followed by a panel discussion with Prof Skea on the role of the IPCC at a time of changing physical and social climates, followed by an opportunity to continue discussions over light refreshments.
Please note that Prof Skea will also give a public lecture on Climate change: down to earth solutions, arranged by the University, at 5.30 pm in the Booth lecture theatre in Medicine, which also promises to be a fascinating event.
